Manchester United have announced a multi-year deal with Emtel Ltd to become another global partner of the club.
Emtel, a mobile operator and ICT company, will stream club content to fans in Mauritius via TV, mobile and internet. They become the first official partner of Man United in the region.
The company joins what seems like an endless list of sponsors as United continue to increase their corporate power in the global market.
With partners including Mister Potato, Nissin and Apollo Tyres, the commercial side of the club continues to build revenues year on year.
United also announced a £750m ten-year shirt deal with Adidas last year, making the club the most valuable sports team in the world, with an estimated value of $3.6bn.
Fans saw some of that money go towards the acquisitions of Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao last summer, but the January transfer window only saw Victor Valdes come into the club on a free transfer.
With the added Adidas revenue plus multiple regional deals such as Emtel, Man United are going to be in a very strong position in the summer when it comes to signing new players.
