Louis van Gaal has confirmed Michael Carrick is the only player unavailable for Manchester United’s game against West Ham due to injury.
Ashley Young returned for Man United in the latter stages of the midweek victory over Cambridge United and Rafael played the full 90 minutes for the U21s, while Luke Shaw also revealed he wasn’t injured.
It means Man United go into the game against West Ham with a much greater selection of players as the home side after Sam Allardyce insisted he wouldn’t risk his players and could be left without up to six first-team players.

Carrick’s influence will be missed but Daley Blind has done a good job filling in that role so far, so Man United fans are hoping he can do much of the same on Sunday.
Given how injury ravaged Man United’s squad has been this season, it’s refreshing to see the shoe on the other foot and Van Gaal’s side going into a game with an injury advantage rather than disadvantage.
Only one player injured, can you believe it?
