Louis van Gaal paid his respects to those who lost their lives in the Munich Air Disaster by attending laying a wreath of flowers underneath the Munich plaque outside Old Trafford.
The Manchester United boss joined in with United supporter in an emotive rendition of The Flowers of Manchester, sung in memorial of the Busby Babes and all those who died in the tragic crash back in 1958.
It’s a nice touch from Van Gaal to join fans and pay his own respects on what is always a poignant and emotional day for Man United supporters.
