Robin van Persie once again wasted several good opportunities to get Manchester United back into the game as his side trailed West Ham United on Sunday evening.
Van Persie has blown hot and cold plenty of times this season and supporters will have been pleased to see him score his first goal of 2015 against Leicester last weekend but he’s still struggling with his form.
Today, Van Persie looked bereft of confidence, taking a touch when a first-time shot may have been the better option before being thwarted by Adrian and although he could have been given better service, it was an underwhelming performance from Van Persie:
Been saying it since last season, van Persie's movement has simply not been good enough. Wilson on the other hand …..

RvP and Falcao shouldn't start together again.

After criticism earlier in the season saw him on the brink of being dropped, goals against Newcastle, Southampton, Liverpool and Hull sparked van Persie back to life but he has struggled since the turn of the year.
With Radamel Falcao also wasting good chances, United need to find a way of putting the ball in the back of the net regularly, and fast.
