Palermo striker Paulo Dybala, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United, has admitted he is dreaming of playing for Manchester City or Barcelona next season.
Dybala, labelled as ‘the new Aguero‘, has notched 11 goals and six assists during an impressive season in Serie A and Gianluca di Marzio reports that Man United recently sent scouts to watch him play.
Palermo president Mauro Zamparini admitted Dybala would probably leave the club following a breakdown in the relationship between the pair but said he would prefer him to stay in Serie A. Despite this Dybala himself is dreaming of a move to City or Barcelona.
Speaking about his future, Dybala said: ”When I play with the Playstation, I always choose Barcelona or Manchester City. I dream to play one day with one of those clubs.”
Dybala’s comments will come as a blow to Man United who watched the youngster during Palermo’s 3-0 defeat against Inter Milan.
United are clearly keeping their options open when it comes to summer signings given the uncertainty surrounding Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao but it appears that Dybala will not be coming to Old Trafford.
