Manchester United are interested in 19-year-old Fluminese striker Kenedy and are considering a move for him in the summer.

According to reports in Brazil, Man United first watched the youngster when he played for Brazil’s U17s side.

Kenedy has progressed well for Fluminese and a youth coach at the club has admitted that United are one of the clubs who are interesting in signing him.

The Old Trafford outfit are keen to sign Kenedy but Inter Milan have also been credited with an interest in signing him.

United have dealt with Fluminese in the past having signed twins Rafael and Fabio Da Silva from the club in 2008.

Louis van Gaal will be hoping that the good relationship between the two clubs will give them the upper hand when it comes to negotiations for Kenedy.

In 2013, Kenedy scored six goals in the U17 South American Championship making him Brazil’s leading scorer in the competition.
