Manchester United prepare for tough run of fixtures

by Ben Topliss

Manchester United are bracing themselves for a tough run of fixtures over March and April following the FA Cup sixth round draw on Monday night.

Louis van Gaal’s side will face Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the competition over the weekend of March 7/8.

It will be the first in a crucial run of games as United bid to qualify for the Champions League and win the FA Cup this season.

After the Arsenal tie, United will face Tottenham at Old Trafford before rounding off March by travelling to Liverpool.

United then start April with a couple of home games against Aston Villa and Manchester City before going to Stamford Bridge to take on Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea.

To top it off, they finish the month with a tricky looking match against Everton at Goodison Park.

It is a brutal run of fixtures which will more than likely decide whether or not United are to prosper this season.

The club haven’t been playing well recently but fans will take confidence from the fact United have only lose once in 19 games.
