Radamel Falcao was almost an instant Manchester United hero when he joined the club on loan from Monaco on deadline day back in September.
Sadly, those days seem far away. Falcao has four goals for United and a decent haul of assists but he is looking more and more like a shadow of his former self.
The love for Falcao stemmed from his world class reputation and the surprise at his arrival and his career at Old Trafford started brightly but he’s struggling to justify his reptuation.
He was once again substituted against Preston as United trailed 1-0 and supporters seem to be finally accepting it won’t happen for ‘El Tigre’ at Old Trafford.
Lo lo lo Falcao is turning into lol lol lol Falcao

Really want Falcao to do well, but its not happening. In essence, we’ve got a less mobile Hernandez on 4057262 times the wage

Whether its confidence, fitness, injury or the fact that he’s secretly 37; it’s clearly just not going to happen for Falcao at #MUFC

Falcao deserves less than 10£ for that performance.

There’s no way Falcao is staying, that’s the hope gone out the window

Falcao, you were shit again. That’s why you came off. I’m sick of defending these shit performances every week #mufc

Whilst Falcao once again looked disappointed to be hauled off, fans can’t question his commitment to the team and he once again worked hard against the League One side.
Sadly, United created almost nothing until his departure and who knows what would have happened had he stayed on. It will still go down as a shrewd loan signing, he has shown his worth at times, but it is growing increasing unlikely that Falcao will be at United beyond this season.
