Manchester United have signed Belgian youngster Indy Boonen on a three-year deal.
The 16-year-old midfielder was on trial with Man United last year and impressed coaching staff enough to earn himself a move to Manchester.
“It’s like in a dream,” Boonen said having completed his move.
“The training sessions are hard, but I don’t feel the tiredness when I realise I have signed for Manchester United.

Boonen becomes the latest youngster to join Man United since Louis van Gaal took charge in the summer and follows in the footsteps of Timothy Fosu-Mensah into United’s development squads.
Although he is only 16, Fosu-Mensah’s progress this season with United’s U18s shows how opportunities will immediately be there for Boonen if he is good enough.
Man United are also interested in signing Indy’s brother Seppe but he is unable to sign a contract because he is only 13, so United will have to keep in contact with Boonen’s family about his progress until he is legally able to agree terms in England.
