Reports this week linked Manchester United with a £20m summer move for Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kyle Walker.
With Rafael’s future in doubt, Antonio Valencia filling in as a makeshift right-back and Paddy McNair, right-back is one of Man United’s weak spots under Louis van Gaal.
So, this summer there is every chance a new right-back will be coming into the club but fans were surprised to see Walker linked to United, especially for £20m.
With that in mind, we asked our Twitter followers what they thought of a potential deal to sign Walker. Their response? You couldn’t accuse them of sitting on the fence:

@PeoplesPerson_ Spurs fans would.

@PeoplesPerson_ When you can get Clyne for at most £10m more? No.

@PeoplesPerson_ would be our worst decision since the Bebe signing. Clyne/Alves have contract situations we can use to our advantage.

Kanye West even chipped in with his opinion:

@PeoplesPerson_ Not really, injured a lot and bang average. But does like to attack.

It was an overwhelming and unequivocal no from United fans and we agree. The only winners in a deal to bring Walker to Old Trafford for £20m would be Tottenham Hotspur.
In terms of signing a Premier League established right-back, Nathaniel Clyne is the player most United fans would like to see join in the summer.
