Louis van Gaal refused to divulge his summer transfer plans amid ongoing reports that Manchester United are set to spend big before the start of next season.
Man United have been linked with a multitude of players since the start of the campaign including Mats Hummels, Raphael Varane, Paul Pogba and Nigel de Jong.
With the likes of Robin van Persie, Radamel Falcao, Jonny Evans and Rafael all suffering from indifferent seasons at Old Trafford it appears United are keeping their options open when it comes to bringing players in.
Van Gaal was non-committal on whether or not he would spend in the summer and said fans will just have to wait to see if anything happens.
When asked about summer spending, van Gaal said: ”I don’t know, we’ll have to see and wait.”
Van Gaal has proved he is not afraid to enter the transfer market having spent over £100m on players such as Ander Herrera and Angel di Maria.
United are also in a healthy position to spend thanks to next season’s kit deal with Adidas and a wide range of sponsorships so it is unlikely that they will be quiet come the summer.
