Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed he is speaking to a number of European clubs about the possible transfer of Paulo Dybala.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been linked with the striker and Dybala himself recently admitted he dreams of playing for Manchester City or Barcelona.
The 21-year-old is enjoying a fine breakthrough season in Serie A and has attracted interest from a number of clubs. Zamparini confirmed he is talking directly to several teams in Europe, including those in England and France.
Speaking about Dybala, Zamparini said: ”The major clubs in Europe contacted me, I’m speaking directly to the presidents of the teams interested in England and France (like PSG).
“There is a lot of interest, the player is very good and we’ll try to find an agreement with the agent, the family and everyone to make sure we do what is best for them as well as Palermo which made him grow.”
Zamaprini has been very vocal when talking about Dybala’s situation and has stayed true to form with these latest comments.
Whether or not Dybala comes to United remains to be seen but he would certainly improve their options in attack.
Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie have struggled this season, Wayne Rooney has often been employed in midfield and James Wilson has been languishing in the U21s. Dybala would bring some much needed pace and vibrancy into the squad and would more than likely make an impact on the Premier League.
