Radamel Falcao celebrates Monaco victory

Radamel Falcao has celebrated and sent his congratulations to AS Monaco after the French side beat Arsenal 3-1 in their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie.

On-loan from Monaco to Manchester United at the moment, Falcao was delighted to see his current parent club overcome Arsenal with what was a very comfortable performance.

Geoffrey Kondogbia put Monaco ahead before Dimitar Berbatov gave them a 2-0 lead and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s response to make it 2-1 was short lived when Yannick Ferreira Carrasco capitalised on an Oxlade-Chamberlain mistake to finish the game at 3-1.

Whether Falcao does return to Monaco is a hot topic of debate for fans right now but there is no guarantee the Colombian will be at Man United player come the summer.

“Congratulations on the wonderful result Monaco it is evening. Dagger Monegù!”

Of course, back when he was still with Monaco, Falcao scored himself against Arsenal at the Emirates Cup and Man United also won their this year, so his track record isn’t bad at the Emirates.
