Warren Joyce has explained that Josh Harrop has been playing with a groin injury with Manchester United’s U21s ever since returning from national duty with England.
The 19-year-old has been uncharacteristically muted in his recent performances with Man United’s U21s and Joyce revealed he has been struggling with a groin injury since returning from international duty with England.
There was no mention as to the severity of the injury but it sounds to be a niggle rather than anything substantial for the youngster which is good news.
On the other hand, long-standing minor injuries can sometimes be the most worrying if they have a long-term impact but Joyce would more than likely have voiced his concern if he felt that was the scenario.

Harrop, 19, is one of a number of talented midfielders coming through United’s academy at the moment and he has enjoyed plenty of progress this year to become a regular starter for the U21s.
