Ander Herrera now focused on FA Cup game against Arsenal

A delighted Ander Herrera wasted no time in shifting his focus and attention towards Manchester United’s FA Cup game against Arsenal on Monday night.

Man United’s 1-0 win over Newcastle made sure they didn’t lose ground on everybody around them in the hunt for a top four spot but an FA Cup quarter-final is a different matter altogether.

United are potentially only three games away from lifting the FA Cup for the first time in 11 years and Louis van Gaal has made his intention very clear from the start that he wanted to win the competition.

Taking to Instagram on his way back from Manchester, a happy Herrera snapped himself alongside Juan Mata, Marouane Fellaini and Adnan Januzaj:

Herrera made a few uncharacteristic errors against Newcastle and was let off the look after Papiss Cisse spurned a glorious chance that was created off a mistake from the Spanish midfielder.

However, over the course of the last few games, Herrera has been very impressive and should without doubt be in the starting XI to face Arsenal on Monday.
