Radamel Falcao: We’ll keep fighting

Radamel Falcao has issued a rallying call to his Manchester United team-mates following the 1-0 win over Newcastle United on Wednesday night.

The Colombian did not feature in the game and instead watched on from the bench as Wayne Rooney and Marouane Fellaini missed good chances for Man United.

At the other end, a string of superb David de Gea saves denied Ayoze Perez and Papiss Cisse.

Ashley Young eventually won the game and a crucial three points for United by driving home a winner in the dying moments of the match.

Falcao hailed the victory and said the team are more determined than ever to qualify for the Champions League:

Falcao was also left out of the 2-1 defeat to Swansea City earlier this month despite the fact that United were chasing an equaliser late on.

The striker, on loan from French side Monaco, has had a tough time of late and it remains to be seen whether United choose to take up an option to sign him permanently in the summer.

Despite his lack of game time, Falcao’s enthusiasm doesn’t seem to be wavering and he will be looking to get in the starting XI for the FA Cup quarter-final clash with Arsenal on Monday.
