MUTV Predicted XI vs Arsenal: Radamel Falcao starts

by Ben Topliss

MUTV’s Stewart Gardner has predicted Radamel Falcao will start up front for Manchester United against Arsenal ahead of the FA Cup quarter-final meeting tonight.

The Colombian has struggled at Old Trafford since moving to the club on loan from Monaco last summer but Gardner thinks he will score against the Gunners.

Falcao’s inclusion means Wayne Rooney operates in the hole behind him in a 4-2-3-1 formation so there is no room for Marouane Fellaini or Juan Mata.

Angel Di Maria starts on the right despite the fact that the Argentine is currently going through a rough patch, while Ashley Young starts on the opposite wing.

Luke Shaw is a doubt for the game so Gardner goes for Daley Blind at left-back, meaning Michael Carrick and Ander Herrera start in the middle of the park.

Meanwhile, there are no surprises in goal as David De Gea continues between the sticks instead of Victor Valdes.
