David de Gea – Sorry Victor Valdes, you’re on the bench still.
Rafael da Silva – Now is the time for Rafael to come back into the team.
Phil Jones – Could be Chris Smalling. Hard to decide between them.
Marcos Rojo – Van Gaal confirmed he had a slight knock but he’s a fighter and won’t let that get in the way (unless it is more serious).
Ashley Young – Has said he is fit and with Luke Shaw suffering a niggle, Young should start at left-back.
Michael Carrick – Time for Carrick to return and bring some composure back into United.
Marouane Fellaini – Don’t want him to start but looking at a ‘balance’, van Gaal might play him a deeper role.
Ander Herrera – United need Herrera to be able to run forward and attack Spurs.
Juan Mata – Like Rafael, this is the opportunity Mata has been waiting for.
Wayne Rooney – United will be looking towards Rooney for goals.
Radamel Falcao – We’ve gone for Falcao ahead of Wilson here but it could go either way. If van Gaal thinks he can cope with the pressure, he should start him.
