Much was made of United’s tough run of fixtures prior to the Spurs game but they answered any doubts in emphatic style.
Excellent to a man, United completely swarmed Spurs and were in control of the game from start to finish. If the team plays half as well as they did against Spurs for the rest of the season, fans would not have to worry about Champions League qualification one bit. However, anything can happen in United’s next game as the team travel to Anfield to face Liverpool.
