Daley Blind is back in the Netherlands squad after picking up an injury that ruled him out for two months in a friendly against Mexico back in November.
The injury curtailed his good early start to life at Manchester United but he the club’s only representative in the squad with Robin van Persie still recovering from his own injury.
The 25-year-old has 25 caps for his country, scoring two goals and really came to life at the 2014 World Cup under Louis van Gaal. A superb assist in their opening game and a goal in the third place play-off against Brazil put him in the headlines and it was always certain Van Gaal would bring him to Old Trafford.
Van Persie’s current recovery from injury means he’ll stay back in Manchester to continue his return to fitness which gives a chance to uncapped Bas Dost, who has been in superb form for Wolfsburg lately.

The squad is largely similar to the one left behind by Van Gaal last summer and the United boss will surely be interested to know how reported targets Nigel de Jong and Memphis Depay get on.
The latter has been linked constantly with a big money move of late and has even been busy on Twitter saving tweets from United fans about a potential move and he has now emerged as a top summer target.
There was reported interest in De Jong coming to Old Trafford last summer, the player claiming he was ‘proud’ to be linked with a move and he is available on a free transfer should Van Gaal decide to make a move.
