Radamel Falcao may be having a tough time at Manchester United but he is idolised by Colombian fans.
That much was evident on Tuesday when a video emerged of a young fan interrupting a training session by running towards Falcao to give him a hug.
The youngster then grabs a selfie with the 29-year-old before asking him to sign his Man United shirt.
It was a heartwarming moment for Falcao, who hasn’t had much to smile about during a torrid campaign at Old Trafford and although, it might not be working out for him currently at United but fans still adore him.
The striker won widespread acclaim for his performances at Atletico Madrid and Porto and was once considered the best in the world in his position.
However, two serious knee injuries appear to have robbed the player of his best form. Falcao hasn’t started for United since February and was made to play for the U21s earlier this month.
This international break is crucial for Falcao. Away from the pressure and prying eyes of the press and fans in Manchester, he’s got an opportunity to re-find his form because he won’t be afforded many chances by Louis van Gaal in this crucial run-in.
