Manchester United have once again sent scouts to watch Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 22-year-old has scored 15 goals in 24 appearances for Inter this season and attracted interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe as a consequence.
It’s not the first time Man United have watched Icardi in action as they have previously sent scouts to watch him in February, along with Palermo striker Paulo Dybala.
Officials at the club appear to like what they have seen with Icardi again looked at during Inter’s 1-0 defeat to Sampdoria last weekend:
It’s clear that Louis van Gaal is looking to freshen up his attack with the likes of Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie suffering from indifferent seasons.
Along with Icardi and Dybala, United have been linked with players such as Paul Pogba and Memphis Depay. Fans will be encouraged by Icardi’s recent comments on the transfer speculation after he said he was flattered with United’s interest.
