Louis van Gaal might have been able to keep it calm and collected with his celebration but it was superb to see Rojo’s emotions spill over into unbridled joy at watching a team-mate score a sensational goal.
For all their struggles at points this season, United really are beginning to look like a team. Their football is becoming instinctive and the players are friends off the pitch as well as on it.
All in all, it’s helping to bring the sort of attacking football back to United which fans have been desperate to see. Long may it continue.
