Martin Skrtel has decided to throw himself further in the fire today by sending out a not-so-subliminal message to the FA after being charged with stamping on David de Gea.
The Liverpool defender appealed the initial charge in the first place and has now decided to publicly criticise the FA.
Skrtel surely deseves an extended ban on top of the three he would have received for violent conduct in the first place, both for the appeal in the first place and now his criticism after the decision.
The funny part about this whole incident is that if Srktel stamping on De Gea was indeed unavoidable, then surely the Slovakian defender would have apologised to United’s goalkeeper immediately?
Instead, he squared up to De Gea and had to be visibly restrained. Skrtel is certainly playing the victim very well in this scenario and his actions are only going to extend his ban, so carry on Martin.
