The standout moment comes from Callum Gribbin and a superb piece of close dribbling from him in the U18s game against Aston Villa. Gribbin put himself in the spotlight earlier this season inn United’s FA Youth Cup game against Hull at Old Trafford and has been heavily involved in what has been an impressive season for the U18s.
As for the first-team, Herrera’s control gets highlighted. The diminutive Spaniard has such an elegant poise to his style that he even makes a chest pass like refined and it really is great to watch him in full flow, much like his compatriot Mata who understandably stole the headlines after his brace.
There’s also a couple of moments from Daley Blind who was once again excellent at left-back and it does beg the question as to whether he will be employed in that position on a permanent basis, at least until the end of the season, with United’s midfield trio of Carrick, Mata and Herrera doing so well.
