Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are all set to feature for England in their showpiece friendly against Italy. The in-form Marouane Fellaini will be in action against Israel in their Euro 2016 qualifier. Having scored twice against Cyprus already in this international break, Fellaini’s confidence will be sky high.
Angel di Maria will be pitting himself against Antonio Valencia‘s Ecuador and Manchester United fans will certainly be hoping Valencia doesn’t put in any harsh tackles on United’s record signing.
David de Gea is set to start tonight for Spain in their glamour friendly against Daley Blind‘s Netherlands. It is a repeat of the 2010 World Cup final and the two sides also in the 2014 World Cup group stages where Louis van Gaal‘s side demolished them 5-1.
Portugal are in action against Cape Verde so Nani could feature but they are expected to put out an experimental side which means he may not be in action.
Overall, there’s a lot of reds in action tonight. Fingers crossed there are no injuries.
