Louis van Gaal has been nominated for the Premier League Manager of the Month award following Manchester United’s fantastic league form in March.
It was a fortunate result considering the performance during the game but United really kicked on after that by comfortably beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-0.
The Dutchman is up against Arsene Wenger, Tim Sherwood and Ronald Koeman for the award. Many fans were pessimistic about United’s chances of finishing in the top four before the month started but the results have breathed a fresh wave of optimism around the club.
Fellaini, in particular, is enjoying his finest run of form since he arrived at Old Trafford. The whole team has really turned things around after long stretches of patchy form over the campaign and fans will be hoping they continue their good run against Aston Villa this weekend.
