Radamel Falcao set to start against Chelsea tonight

by Sam Peoples

Radamel Falcao is set to return to Manchester United’s starting XI tonight for the game against Chelsea reports Man United fanzine Red News.

The 29-year-old has had to wait patiently on the substitutes bench having been dropped by Louis van Gaal but injuries to Michael Carrick and Daley Blind means Wayne Rooney will be forced back into midfield, giving an opportunity to Falcao which he will be desperate to take advantage of.

Much has been said this season about a lack of service for Falcao but with Juan Mata and Ander Herrera in such great form, that surely won’t be a problem tonight against Chelsea.

Having been right on 14/14 occasions so far this season, their early team news has been 100% accurate and there is no reason to suggest their information is not spot on once again.

Chelsea still have nightmares about Falcao after the Colombian scored a stunning hat-trick against them in the 2012 UEFA Super Cup final (see video).
