The agent of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has insisted he receives ’20 phone calls a day’ about the Frenchman but insisted he is in no rush to wrap up a transfer.
Pogba has been the subject of widespread speculation this season having been linked with moves to Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City.
Despite the fact that the player recently signed a new five-year contract with Juventus, the rumours have continued to persist.
Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, believes he could leave Juventus if the “right offer” comes in for him.
Speaking about Pogba’s future, Raiola said: “If the right offer for Pogba arrives, we will do a deal. We are all gentlemen.
“I have had more than 2,000 phone calls about him since the start of the season. I’m talking about 20 every day.”
“My theory is that you change when you’re strong, not when you have to do it out of necessity. Juve’s great challenge is to rebuild the team, otherwise we will be here in two or three years talking about the mistakes they made.”
Raiola has been very vocal on the subject of Pogba’s future this season having done little to quell the speculation over where his future lies.
Whether his stance is intended to prompt Juventus into an improved deal for him or whether Pogba truly wants to leave Italy remains to be seen.
Juventus are well on there way to winning a fourth straight Serie A title so perhaps Pogba wants a new challenge. If he was to leave the club, there would be no doubt that he would command at least £60m in transfer fees.
