Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw put in another good performance against Everton on Sunday, although he couldn’t stop his side suffering from a 3-0 defeat.
Shaw was forced back into the team after stand-in Daley Blind got injured against Manchester City, but his recent performance against Chelsea ensured he kept his spot.
Once again, the 19-year-old was excellent on the overlap, and showed his pace against Seamus Coleman down the United left.
A few shaky moments occurred defensively late on as United pushed forward, but supporters were pleased to see another good performance:
Luke Shaw has been our best player again.

Btw how good was LUKE SHAW once again!! Tore them to pieces in the 1st half…If he works on his fitness, he can be one hell of a footballer

Luke Shaw was the only bright spot today. Fella took himself out the game with the yellow, not mentally prepared for this match.

Shaw’s performance was topped off when he put in a superb last-ditch tackle on Ross Barkley as Everton broke away. Along with Chris Smalling, he was arguably United’s best player on the pitch.
With fitness issues hopefully behind him, fans will hope to see Shaw nail down a spot in the starting eleven.
