The agent of Angel di Maria, Jorge Mendes, has met up with officials from Paris Saint-Germain to discuss a move away from Manchester United, according to RMC.
Di Maria is going through a tough season at Old Trafford and has regularly found himself on the substitute’s bench in recent months.
The Argentine’s situation is particularly frustrating for Man United fans given the club paid almost £60m for him last summer.
It appears Di Maria has given up hope of reviving his career at United having instructed Mendes to negotiate a transfer with PSG.
The French champions were heavily linked with the 26-year-old when it became clear that he would leave Real Madrid last year but United eventually secured his signature.
Di Maria may well be unhappy at United but it is highly unlikely that the club will let him go so soon after paying a club record fee for him.
A lot of players have taken time to adjust to life in the Premier League before flourishing once they adapt. Di Maria is too good a player not to do the same.
