David de Gea has got two games left as a Manchester United player says Jamie Carragher

Jamie Carragher has tried to take some gloss away from Manchester United fans by reminding them of the uncertain future of David de Gea.

The Spaniard was once again in fine form for Man United and made more than one vital save during the 2-1 win over Crystal Palace this afternoon.

He made an incredible point blank save to keep Palace from scoring at one point and across the full 90 minutes, he was dominant in his area. Every time a ball was thrown into the box, he came and claimed it.

De Gea’s contract expires next summer and United fans are understandably worried about whether Real Madrid will follow up their interest and try to sign him.

To be fair, Carragher has plenty to be thinking about without giving time to consider De Gea’s future.

He should probably concentrate on how wonderful a goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is and how captain fantastic Steven Gerrard steered Liverpool to a victory over Man United at Anfield this season.

Oh, and how Memphis Depay turned down a move to Liverpool in order to join Man United.
