Memphis Depay may have already played his last game for PSV despite the Dutch champions having one match left in the season.
De Telegraaf report that PSV may decide that Memphis won’t play in the upcoming game against ADO Den Haag and if that is the case, he will more than likely travel to Manchester this week to complete his medical and ratify his move to United.
PSV fans gave Depay a standing ovation in his last home game this weekend but he is keen for it to not be his last appearance for the club.
“If it were up to me, I play that game too,” Memphis said.
Depay will be desperate to play in the final game of PSV’s title winning season and from a neutral perspective it would seem unfair to take that away from him.
From United’s perspective, whether Memphis completes his medical this week or the next is largely irrelevant given that he won’t play for the club until the start of the 2015/16 season.
The only concern would be whether Memphis picked up an injury or not because he then wouldn’t be able to complete a medical, which may be why PSV are keen to push the medical through quickly to ensure it happens smoothly.
