Paulo Dybala is set to complete a €32m move to Juventus report Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport.
The 21-year-old Argentinian striker’s future has been the centre of attention with Palermo for a number of months now but these reports suggest Juventus have won the race to sign him.
The Palermo star has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent months, thanks in no small part to their very active and vocal president Maurizio Zamparini.
It was back in January where Zamparini first insisted Man United were interested in a move for Dybala, who he personally dubbed ‘the future Messi’.
United scouts reportedly watched Dybala in action which helped fuel the growing rumours and it wasn’t just United who were linked with him from England as Arsene Wenger had to move to completely deny any interest in Dybala.
Radamel Falcao’s poor form and Robin van Persie‘s indifferent season didn’t help to stop rumours either as United looked to be in need of a fresh face up front.
That being said, if Dybala does indeed complete his big money move to Juventus, the question of whether United were ever interested would certainly be asked. After all, Zamparini wouldn’t be the first, nor would he be the last, to use United’s name to increase interest in his player.
