Sam from United Peoples TV sat down with Robbie from ArsenalFanTV to discuss Radamel Falcao and Danny Welbeck’s seasons so far.
At the start of the season, both Arsenal and Manchester United fans were delighted about the strikers they had signed.
For Manchester United fans, Falcao was a genuine world class name who had the potential to tear up the Premier League if he overcame his injury problems.
For Arsenal fans, Welbeck had the potential to flourish when given the central striker’s role on a more permanent basis.
As it turned out, neither set of fans are particularly happy with how their respective deals have turned out.
Neither Falcao nor Welbeck has been prolific in front of goal. In fact, Chris Smalling has more goals than either of them in the Premier League and that’s indicative of how ineffectual they have been.
Service has lacked for Falcao at United, that’s for sure, but he has still been poor when the chances have fallen to him.
As for Welbeck, he’s been pushed out onto the wings just like he did at United. The grass isn’t much greener on the other side is it Danny?
Overall, both players have had an extremely underwhelming season at their clubs and would have expected more but who do you think has had the better season overall?
