Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has mocked Jamie Carragher after the latter criticised Liverpool following their 6-1 defeat against Stoke City.
Liverpool were abysmal against Stoke and thoroughly deserved their worst defeat in 52 years.
After the game, Carragher labelled the performance as “embarrassing” and “not acceptable” on Twitter.
Neville couldn’t help himself and joked that he has requested an emergency edition of Monday Night Football in order to discuss the result:
I’ve requested an emergency MNF tomorrow. You ok with that? https://t.co/aSGZbOFxhe

Steven Gerrard is gone, Raheem Sterling is going and Daniel Sturridge is a professional hospital patient.
Liverpool’s future really is bleak, which will delight United fans after they continually mocked the reign of David Moyes last year.
It is now Liverpool’s turn to go through a difficult period and there really isn’t any hope for them in terms of turning it around. United are focused on signing the likes of Paul Pogba, Mats Hummels and Gareth Bale. Meanwhile, Liverpool have been strongly linked with the likes of Danny Ings and James Milner.
