Marouane Fellaini has been the gift that keeps on giving this year.
From a debut goal away to West Brom to his important header against Manchester City at Old Trafford, Manchester United fans haven’t quite been able to believe what they have been seeing. Was this really the same Fellaini who got made to look a fool against Man City in the year before?
Last night, Fellaini notched two goals for himself and set another one up in Belgium’s 4-3 win over France.
It’s now reached the stage this year where there is not a sense of surprise when he scores because he has popped up so many times. Currently, he is on five goals with Everton in their last three games together.
Fans couldn’t be happier to see Fellaini doing so well:
Fellaini should be played as a striker next season.

What a season for Fellaini, club & country.

Amazing what LVG has done with Fellaini! And some claim he isn't good enough to play in the CL for Utd. Currently playing against Varane.

Fellaini just keeps on surprising us the best way possible. Scored 2 and set one up in 4-3 win vs France tonight! http://t.co/2h78KKoaj8

Fellaini's recent goal scoring form for Belgium is mad.

It’s going to be an interesting season for Fellaini next year because the expected arrivals of at least one new midfielder might see the Belgian used much more in a ‘plan B from the bench’ scenario, much more in line to what fans expected Louis van Gaal to do in 2014/15.
There’s no question that Fellaini has come on so far under the stewardship of Van Gaal but is he good enough to play that well in the Champions League against Europe’s best?
