Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has offered his services to Champions League runners-up Juventus, according to Tuttosport.
Van Persie endured a frustrating campaign for Man United last season and put in a number of sub-par performances.
The Dutchman is said to be considering his future at Old Trafford, with Roma, Juventus and Lazio all interested in securing his signature.
Van Persie has indicated his willingness to sign for Juventus but the Italian giants are also monitoring Edinson Cavani, Mario Mandzukic and Gonzalo Higuain.
It would be a shame to lose van Persie given his sensational debut season at United but there can be no room for sentiment moving forward.
Louis van Gaal will demand nothing but perfection from his players next term and there is a question mark over whether or not the 31-year-old will be up to scratch.
United are reportedly looking at the likes of Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale and it appears van Persie’s days at Old Trafford are numbered.
