Sky Germany have confirmed Roberto Firmino will leave Hoffenheim this summer and say that a €30m deal has already been agreed with an unnamed club.
Over the last 24 hours there have been very swift developments in the future of Firmino and his potential move to Manchester United is gathering pace very quickly.
Reports from Brazil said he would sign for Man United in an €18m deal and although the figures are somewhat different as per Sky Germany, it seems today’s developments are a reaction to what happened yesterday.
The versatile 23-year-old played the majority of his games last season in attacking midfield but is more than capable of playing in all the positions across the front three and can also operate as a striker, so he’s certainly the flexible type of player who Louis van Gaal likes to have in his team.

At this moment, Sky Germany have not named the club who are believed to have agreed a €30m fee for Firmino but given that this has been announced less than 24 hours after the United stories exploded, fans are putting two and two together to suggest Old Trafford will be where he calls home next season.
As always, we will follow all the developments of this story and bring you updates as and when they happen.
