Manchester United transfer roundup – Roberto Firmino’s agent confirms he will move to England

Here’s the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

According to MailOnline’s Ian Ladyman, Real Madrid will submit an opening bid of £13m for David de Gea this week.

The Spaniard is currently one of the best goalkeepers in the world and Man United paid £18m for him back in 2011. It is safe to say that an offer that low will be rejected.

In terms of incomings, the agent of Roberto Firmino has confirmed the Brazilian will move to England this summer. It is not immediately clear who exactly he will be joining but the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal haven’t really been linked with him.

Firmino could be joined by compatriot Felipe Anderson following reports that United are preparing a £30m bid for the Lazio attacking midfielder.

Meanwhile, Robin van Persie has denied suggestions that he doesn’t have what it takes to cut it at the highest level anymore. The Dutchman endured a frustrating campaign last season and but he backed himself to turn things around.

Van Persie’s future is uncertain but Radamel Falcao’s looks to be much more clear. The Colombian, who spent time on loan at United last term, looks to be joining Chelsea after reportedly agreeing personal terms with the club.
