Manchester United 2015/16 Premier League fixture released

Manchester United’s Premier League fixtures for the 2015/16 season have officially been released this morning.

The fixture list has been kind to Louis van Gaal. Although there is a tough opening day game against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford, it is followed by games against Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Swansea City.

United then face a home game against Liverpool on 12 September. The return derby is on 16 January.

The two Manchester derbies are on 24 October at Old Trafford and 19 March away at the Etihad.

United have also have a very generous run-in and face two promoted teams in the last two games of the season: Norwich at Carrow Road and Bournemouth at Old Trafford to finish the season.

There are tough runs of games in both October and March/April but overall, Van Gaal will be very happy with the fixture list as it could have been much more unforgiving to United.
