Former Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao has performed worse than any outfield player to start all three of their 2015 Copa America matches, according to WhoScored.com.
Following a poor loan spell at Old Trafford, the Colombian has continued to struggle in the Copa America this summer despite having the backing of the side’s management.
Falcao, up against some of the weaker teams in the tournament, has zero goals and zero assists to his name despite starting in all three of his team’s group games.
The former Porto, Atletico Madrid and Monaco striker has been underwhelming since coming back from a cruciate knee ligament tear last year and it appears that the hierarchy at Man United made a wise decision to cut ties with the player at the end of last season.

Falcao has been the target of criticism from Colombia supporters and it appears it is only a matter of time before Jackson Martinez is given the nod ahead of him in the starting XI.
Falcao has been linked with United’s Premier League rivals Chelsea and looks to be very close to a deal, but it remains to be seen just what is left in the players’s legs following a disappointing year.
It doesn’t look like he will regain his form at the Copa America, so he is in for a big pre-season wherever he ends up.
