Barcelona are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Angel di Maria, according to journalist Duncan Castles.
The Argentinian, who had a poor season at Old Trafford after signing for a British transfer record last summer, is reportedly unsettled in Manchester and has been linked with moves to several clubs around Europe including Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.
Barcelona are also said to be exploring the option of signing the former Real Madrid man despite the fierce rivalry between the two sides.

Castles has been a mouthpiece for agent Jorge Mendes for a long time, and this latest claim may well be Mendes’ way of letting Man United know they should be playing Di Maria more.
The player only made 20 Premier League appearances last year but his performances hardly warranted any more than that.
Di Maria himself has recently spoke out about the situation, insisting that he wants to give his career at United more time. However, he did mention the fact that he was unhappy about a lack of game time.
He is too good of a player not to turn things around and it is unlikely that United will sever ties with him so soon after bringing him in.
