Real Madrid are yet to make a bid for Manchester United keeper David de Gea, according to MailSport’s Mike Keegan.
Madrid have been strongly linked with a move for De Gea for a number of months now as a replacement for Iker Casillas.
The situation has been complicated further by Man United’s interest in Sergio Ramos, who they want included in any deal for De Gea.
However, it appears that Madrid are yet to make a formal offer to United for the 24-year-old:
Still no Real Madrid for David de Gea. #mufc

No Real Madrid bid for De Gea, I meant. Clearly I'm still in shock from the rag tweet.

Of course, just because Madrid haven’t made an offer doesn’t mean they aren’t interested in De Gea.
Keegan’s comments come in direct contrast to separate reports which suggested Man United had turned down Madrid’s initial bid for the goalkeeper.
Memphis Depay was said to be close to moves to the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool before United came in and wrapped up the transfer in a matter of days.
It looks like De Gea will return to his homeland sooner rather than later but it is good to see United playing hardball when it comes to negotiations.
