Morgan Schniederlin has been spotted training with Southampton today despite rumours that suggested he would be having a medical at Manchester United.
Man United have been strongly linked with Schneiderlin in recent days and the club had been reportedly close to agreeing a deal for the Frenchman.
However, it looks like the player’s appearance at Southampton’s training ground has put rumours of a medical to bed, at least for today.
Nathaniel Clyne was not at Staplewood as finalising a transfer to Liverpool, but it looks like United still have work to do if they are to secure Schneiderlin’s signature.

The 25-year-old is a fantastic player and he would be a solid addition if United were to bring him in.
Over the past three seasons, Schneiderlin has made 625 tackles and interceptions, 100 higher than any other player and nearly 200 more than any other midfielder in the Premier League.
He out-performed United’s current midfield last season creating more chances than Daley Blind, Michael Carrick and Ander Herrera and in term of the No.6 role which Louis van Gaal is keen to strengthen, there aren’t many better options out than Schneiderlin.
