Sergio Ramos has told Real Madrid he wants to join Manchester United this summer.
La Liga expert Graham Hunter told Sky Sports News that the 29-year-old defender has made it clear of his ambition to move to Old Trafford this summer and, on balance, he feels Ramos will be moving to Man United.
An initial bid for Ramos has already been made by United but there is expected to be plenty of negotiations over a deal in order for the clubs to agree on a valuation.
While United fans tried to distance themselves from thoughts of Ramos joining this summer given what has happened previously with players going on to sign new deals, this potential move has really started to gather pace.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Graham Hunter made it abundantly clear Ramos had made his mind up about wanting to join United and that puts the ball firmly in Ed Woodward’s court.
Now that it is known the player wants to leave, United have gained an advantage with the negotiations but it will still be a very difficult deal to complete.
There aren’t many better centre-backs in world football than Ramos in terms of ability, leadership skills and experience, and he’d no doubt dramatically strengthen United’s defence.
We’re hoping this transfer situation doesn’t end with Ramos all smiles with a new bumper Madrid contract and if Graham Hunter is proved correct, Rafael Benitez will now be keen to sell the player before Madrid’s pre-season tour starts.
