Manchester United winger Nani is now on his way to Turkey and will travel to Fenerbahce in order to complete his medical.
So long as there are no complications with his medical, Nani will finalise a £4.25m move to Fenerbahce and close the book on an eight-year association with Man United.
Nani’s exit from the club has been on the cards for some time now. Ever since he suffered consecutive serious injuries, he was never able to replicate the sort of form which made him one of United’s most dangerous players between 2010-12.
With wages of £100,000 per week, he is currently one of United’s highest earners and it will be a real boost to have him off the books because Louis van Gaal will be able to immediately re-invest that in another area of the squad.
