Robin van Persie arrived at Manchester United training on Monday despite reports that he had agreed a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce.
The 31-year-old’s future at Old Trafford is far from certain, with Louis van Gaal yet to confirm whether he will still be at the club next term.
Numerous reports over the weekend suggested there was a deal in place for van Persie to switch to Fenerbahce but his agent has since denied the rumours.
Van Persie made an appearance at Carrington for United’s first day back following time off but it is unclear if he’ll be there for much longer:

The Dutchman is said to be keen on regular first-team football in the lead up to Euro 2016 and there is a question mark over whether or not United can offer him that.
Van Persie had a disappointing season last term and he has produced less goals and assists every year since he joined in 2012.
If the player was to leave United, it would free up a lot of money on the wage bill. Van Persie is reportedly earning upwards of £250,000-a-week and that may be better spent elsewhere.
