Manchester United are prepared to listen to offers for Brazilian right-back Rafael, according to Sky Sports News.
Rafael is a fans’ favourite at Old Trafford but he barely featured under Louis van Gaal last season after falling out of favour in the second half of the campaign.
The 24-year-old has made 170 appearances for United since joining with twin brother Fabio in 2008.
Napoli, Galatasaray and Fiorentina are all understood to have expressed an interest in him.
Rafael is an expressive, daring player who has shown that he likes to get forward at every opportunity during his time at United.
Unfortunately, his style of play appears to have played a part in his downfall. Van Gaal is a strict coach who keeps players on a short leash and Rafael is too indisciplined in that respect.
The far more defensively-minded Antonio Valencia was eventually preferred to Rafael last term and United are now said to be closing in on the signing of Torino full-back Matteo Darmian. It is doubtful that Rafael will be at the club for much longer.
