Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

Torino F.C. defender Matteo Darmian will fly to England tomorrow for a medical ahead of a move to Manchester United.

After a week of non-stop discussion Man United finally agreed on a £12.9m fee for the Italian right-back and he is set to become the club’s second summer signing after Memphis Depay.

Next up, Robin van Persie is closing in on his move to Fenerbahce by undergoing a medical today in England. The Turkish club have since confirmed they are in talks to sign him and he could be unveiled by Fenerbahce on Monday.

Moving on, Man United remain confident of signing Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin before their first pre-season tour match. United had a £20m bid rejected for Schneiderlin last month and although they haven’t officially bid again reports show that negotiations have reopened.

Now an update on Javier Hernandez, Sevilla coach Unai Emery has revealed that the Manchester United striker is one of the options being considered as he looks to find a replacement for Carlos Bacca.

Finally, with PSG’s Financial Fair Play restrictions now lifted, reports are saying that the club will pay United’s asking price of £43m for Di Maria, who struggled last season at Old Trafford. However, most fans are convinced that the 27-year-old won’t be leaving the club at all and still has much work to be done under Van Gaal.
